Get answers to common questions about Microneedling.

During your Microneedling session at Sinkor, a topical numbing cream is applied first. The provider uses a sterile device to create micro-injuries; treatment takes about 30–60 minutes. You may feel mild pressure, with temporary redness and pinpoint bleeding that fades in days.

Most clients benefit from a series of 3–6 Microneedling sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Exact number depends on skin concerns, age, and healing response; your clinician will recommend a personalized plan during consultation.

Discomfort is minimal for most people. We apply topical numbing cream before Microneedling to reduce sensation; you may still feel light prickling or pressure. Post-treatment soreness and redness are normal but typically subside within a few days.

Microneedling is not recommended for people with active skin infections, open wounds, uncontrolled acne cysts, or a history of keloid scarring. Also avoid if you recently used isotretinoin; disclose medications and medical history so we can assess your candidacy.

Expect redness and mild swelling for 24–72 hours; many clients return to normal activities within one to two days. Avoid direct sun, heavy exercise, and makeup for at least 24–48 hours. Full collagen remodeling appears over weeks to months.
