Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Radiant Underarm.

Arrive with clean, dry underarms free of deodorant or oils; hair should be about quarter-inch long. Avoid exfoliating or bleaching 24 hours before. Our estheticians will assess skin and discuss concerns to ensure a comfortable, effective Radiant Underarm treatment.

Most clients report brief stinging during hair removal followed by rapid relief. Discomfort usually subsides within minutes to a few hours. We apply soothing post-wax serums and recommend cold compresses or gentle aloe if needed to ease sensitivity.

Frequency varies, but most clients return every three to six weeks as hair regrowth emerges. Regular waxing can weaken follicles over time, leading to finer, sparser hair. We’ll create a personalized plan based on your growth cycle and comfort level.

Please avoid deodorant or antiperspirant before your appointment to ensure clean waxing. After waxing wait twenty-four hours before applying deodorant to reduce irritation. Use fragrance-free, gentle products and follow our post-care guidance to protect sensitive underarm skin.

Most skin types tolerate waxing well, but avoid waxing over sunburn, open wounds, active rashes, or recent chemical peels. If you have severe eczema, psoriasis, or are using retinoids, consult our esthetician or your dermatologist before booking for safe care.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and fragranced products for twenty-four to forty-eight hours to prevent irritation. Apply soothing aloe or our recommended balm, exfoliate gently after three days, and use sunscreen if underarms will be exposed to sunlight.
